Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ROXMATCH, a service that helps HYROX athletes find doubles partners for specific races. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use ROXMATCH. By using the service you confirm that you are 18 or over and legally able to enter this agreement.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and for keeping your login secure. Provide real information about yourself; impersonation and fake profiles are not allowed.

3. Acceptable use

ROXMATCH is for finding training and race partners. You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, or abuse other users;
• send inappropriate, sexual, hateful, or illegal content;
• impersonate others or create fake profiles;
• spam, scam, advertise, or solicit for unrelated purposes;
• attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service.

You can report and block other users in-app. Reports may lead to removal of content or accounts.

4. User content

You keep ownership of the photos and text you post, but grant us a licence to host and display them within the service to make matching work. You are responsible for the content you upload and confirm you have the right to share it.

5. Subscriptions & payment

• ROXMATCH is free to use with a daily limit on likes. Premium unlocks unlimited swipes and extra features and is offered on several plans (weekly, monthly and quarterly); the current plans and prices are shown in the app before you subscribe, and payment is processed by Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price for the same period until cancelled. You can cancel any time from "Manage subscription" in your profile, or — without logging in — via our online cancellation page at roxmatchapp.com/cancel ("Abo kündigen"); access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Where you are a consumer with a statutory right of withdrawal, that right applies as described in section 6.
• Prices and features may change; we will give reasonable notice of material changes.

6. Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have the right to withdraw from a Premium subscription within 14 days of subscribing, without giving any reason.

• To withdraw, send an unambiguous declaration before the deadline — for example an email to legal@roxmatchapp.com, or use the form at roxmatchapp.com/cancel mentioning "withdrawal". You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.
• At checkout you expressly request that Premium starts immediately. If you withdraw after that, you owe a proportionate amount for the service already provided up to your withdrawal; the rest of any payment is refunded without undue delay using your original payment method. The right of withdrawal lapses once the service has been fully performed (e.g. a subscription period fully elapsed).

Model withdrawal form: "To ROXMATCH (legal@roxmatchapp.com): I hereby withdraw from my contract for the ROXMATCH Premium subscription. Ordered on [date]. Name and email of the account: [name, email]. Date: [date]."

7. Matching & no guarantees

ROXMATCH helps you find potential partners but does not guarantee matches, responses, partner quality, or race outcomes. You are responsible for your own interactions, training arrangements and safety. Meet and train responsibly.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or harm other users. You can also request deletion by emailing legal@roxmatchapp.com.

9. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, for the conduct of other users, or for arrangements you make with them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law, with the competent courts at the operator's domicile in the Canton of Zürich, Switzerland, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email.
