What is a good HYROX doubles time? Benchmarks by division
A good doubles time is one you both can hold. But it helps to know where the field sits, so here are the numbers, division by division.
The numbers
These are from an independent analysis of 709,816 public HYROX results of the 2025/26 season by Roxhype. "Middle" is the athlete in the middle of the field: half were faster, half slower. HYROX does not publish official averages.
| Division | Top 10% | Middle | Slowest 10% |
|---|---|---|---|
| Doubles Men | 1:03:40 | 1:16:16 | 1:36:02 |
| Doubles Women | 1:14:34 | 1:28:16 | 1:49:33 |
| Doubles Mixed | 1:08:26 | 1:23:06 | 1:45:29 |
| Pro Doubles Men | 58:45 | 1:09:49 | 1:27:28 |
| Pro Doubles Women | 1:07:01 | 1:20:01 | 1:41:16 |
Why doubles is faster than solo
Each of you still runs all eight kilometers, because you run together. What changes is the stations: the work is shared, so each of you does roughly half of it and arrives at every run less tired. That is why doubles times sit well below singles times in the same division.
It also means the run pace decides more than people expect. A pair is only as fast as its slower runner, kilometer after kilometer.
Picking a goal you can both hold
- First race together: aim for the middle of your division. Finishing strong and together beats a target that breaks at the sled.
- Start from the runs: take the slower partner's comfortable 1 km pace under fatigue, times eight, and add your station estimate on top.
- Agree on one number: a pair that disagrees about the goal races two different races. Say the number out loud before you train for it.
- Mixed sits in between: one weight class for the pair, so the split decides more than in any other division.
